| Daily Activities | | A typical day includes a period of free play, Circle time (including prayer), Bible Story, music, weather and daily calendars, small group learning occasions, arts and crafts, recess, story book, and snack time. This provides exercise and balance in structured and unstructured activities all of which are important in development. | Statement of Philosophy and Purpose | Luke 2:52 says..."And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men." Within this single verse of scripture, the purpose of WC Preschool is clearly presented:- Wisdom To develop in each student an educational process that places the revealed Word of God at its very center, challenging both student and teacher to evaluate all things through the eye of God because "God is Truth". To provide each child with the basic learning fundamentals such as colors, letters, shapes, numbers, and all other necessities to ready them for kindergarten.
- Stature To assist each student in developing his or her full potential for a preschooler in body, mind, and spirit. To provide each child with the best possible environment to reach the above mentioned goals.
- Favor with God To inspire in each student a system of values consistent with the Word of God and a personal faith in Jesus Christ, God's Son. To present to each child the truth about God, life, the world, man, and man's purpose for existence.
- Favor with Men To instill in the heart of each student a strong love for our country and an appreciation of our nation's Christian heritage. To uphold the sanctity of the home, the obligations of citizenship, and the sacredness of the church.
